Wonder what it means that I working so much in purple tones??  Two of my last three flower paintings have been basically purple!! 

You'd think that, here in the High Desert, we'd be done with the cold weather... But No!  It is very blustery and cold!  Perhaps thats why I'm focused on flowers these days!!  My lilacs and poppies are up -- but the wind is kicking their butts!!!
